That’s saying that people say that life is fair and it’s not because if it was bad things wouldn't happen. Also if it was everyone would be rich instead of just lucky or talented people in the world .You would be able to do everything that you love and not doing things you don’t.

interpreting a quote
“Maybe i didn't mean for those people to die,but somewhere,subconsciously , I really meant it.”
That shows that Valerie did want those people to die die in way. She made a “hate list” and if she didn't want anyone to die she wouldn't have made it. When everyone was asking her if she knew he was gonna do that she said no because she was so shocked that it actually happened she wasn't thinking straight . She maybe had some craziness in her and she felt like all the “popular” kids was her and nick’s enemies because a few of them made fun of them. She felt that once nick got revenge(killed) them that’ll make up for all the name calling and bullying that was done to her. But in reality that wasn't what would happen and she’ll finally realize that just makes things worst and make everyone hate you and then you're the “BAD GUY”.

Interpretation of a Hate List quote
Quote: “Old habits die hard” (Said by Val)
This shows me that old habits are things you get used to and if something happens they can become wrong or something happens when you try to do them again. An example is when Val would go and sit with her friends on the bleachers before school. After the shooting Val's old friends no longer wanted her to be by them so she didn't go there anymore because that habit was destroyed so it “died hard”. Like with me and another kid when i was younger, around 1-3 grade we would always hang out at the park and play on the swings. It all changed after 1 day i teased him about how he smelled and he hated me ever since and when i tried to talk to him he would walk away and say he hated me. Ever since we haven't talked in awhile so that habit “died”.

Bullying Info-graphics
I'm really enjoying this book a lot. its going pretty well with reading it. I was pretty shocked that her dad has a bad side(don't want to spoil what happened). Also that Val was drinking at the party and got a gun pulled on her! below are info-graphics about bullying an what it can do to people. I picked these because they are pretty similar to the character Valerie's thoughts and actions in the book.
