On page 35 it says “but then i get home later and climb into bed and start thinking about it. about the suicide stuff. was i safe? “


I think that the girl valerie had some issues that she needed help with. If she was questioning if she was safe from suicide she obviously needed some help because she was crazy or going crazy.  When i read it i was like wow that’s crazy i never thought someone would say something like that.

This reminds me of the article that i read in class “ why do kids post videos on crime” because the kids were teasing him and he’s trying to get up and leaves but can’t and that kinda ties to valerie's story because after she was involved in the school shooting she was embarrassed to go outside. She stayed in the house the whole summer and she wants to leave but she has to get an education. That’s similar to the kid getting beat up because they both wanted to leave but they can’t.
