“Maybe i didn't mean for those people to die,but somewhere,subconsciously , I really meant it.”
That shows that Valerie did want those people to die die in way. She made a “hate list” and if she didn't want anyone to die she wouldn't have made it. When everyone was asking her if she knew he was gonna do that she said no because she was so shocked that it actually happened she wasn't thinking straight . She maybe had some craziness in her and she felt like all the “popular” kids was her and nick’s enemies because a few of them made fun of them. She felt that once nick got revenge(killed) them that’ll make up for all the name calling and bullying that was done to her. But in reality that wasn't what would happen and she’ll finally realize that just makes things worst and make everyone hate you and then you're the “BAD GUY”.
