1. The Hate List began almost as a joke. How did it become so deadly?

Well what i think why the hate list became deadly was when Val was writing down the names of people she hated and started to show nick and nick took it the wrong way and started shooting up almost everyone on the list. On page 8 it states: “The guy I loved was going to shoot up the school though he basically told me so, like, every day.” What this means is that everyone that she hated everyone that she put on that list most of them died by Nick because Nick loved her badly and he doesn’t want anyone to hurt her, so when she made that list, Jeremy who was  Nick’s friend at the time, I think got the idea to shoot everyone on the list that tried to hurt her so what Nick did he thought about it and agreed with it. If i knew someone and i was in Val shoes and the person that I loved started to shoot up the school because I made a hate list, I would probably feel guilty about myself and never want to come to that school ever again because its my fault for all this happening and plus there was warning that she was going to do it but I would never listen I'll just crumble. I would never be right again everything would change in life and that's probably what shes feelings right now about Nick because she loved him he called him: “My escape.” So I kinda can feel what she is feeling because of all that has happened to her and i kinda can see that when she said that “I feel left out.” It may be true because Nick was the best thing that ever happened to her and now since he’s gone and he shot up the school she doesn’t feel right anymore well so far as I continue reading.
